Nourishing Neighborhoods
Every week, we provide over 200 bags of food to families across Scarborough — with delivery available and a welcoming Drop-In Centre every Friday in the Kingston and Galloway area.
About the Program
Nourishing Neighborhoods is IMPACT 'n Communities' weekly food bank program, designed to address food insecurity in Scarborough's most underserved areas. Each week, our dedicated volunteers pack and distribute over 200 bags of nutritious food to families and individuals in need.
We believe that access to food is a fundamental right, not a privilege. Our program goes beyond simply providing groceries; it creates a space of dignity, connection, and community care. One of IMPACTs goals is to consistently fill your bags with nourishing ingredients from fruits, vegetables and health snacks. It's imperative we teach on quality of food along with filling a plate. Donations go towards providing healthy foods & access to delivery. Deliveries are made every Thursday.

IMPACt 'n Youth Friday Drop-In Centre
Along with our Thursday Food Bank; every Friday, our Youth Drop-In Centre opens its doors in the Kingston and Galloway area, one of Scarborough's most vibrant and resilient communities. The Drop-In is more than a place of sports and activities it's a place where neighbours connect, share a meal, and access additional supports. Youth and neighbors are given access to a warm meal.
Whether you're coming for food, community, or simply a warm and welcoming space, you are always welcome here.
